people think about the moon as a dead dry rock you know we’ve been there we’ve done that didn’t people already go there and it just looked like a bunch of rocks in the videos I make the analogy that if you were to be a alien race to landing on planet Earth and you land in the Sahara desert you’d come back saying this planet is useless it’s just a bunch of sand and oh my god there’s sand in in the sahara desert there’s oil under it there’s gold just over here there’s all kinds of stuff that’s just out there So I think we have a similar situation with the moon what you may not realize is that the same materials that have brought the precious metals and resources to earth namely asteroids and comets have been kind of hitting the earth and brought a lot of those resources those have been hitting the moon too all of the time But the moon unlike the Earth has not been molten for four billion years okay so the things that have hit have stayed on the surface…Wow…and it doesn’t have that atmosphere to burn things up So we’ve actually brought together the leading scientists kind of in who uh study the moon and the consensus is that there is vast amount of platinum grade metals on the moon just sitting there on the surface in kind of a fine grain dust in the lunar dust Wow okay so I think there is more platinum on the moon then there is in all the mining reserves on the planet Earth Now once you build the infrastructure to actually harvest that stuff and also extract out rocket fuel from the water on the moon Now you can basically bring things back at very low cost I think you could be bringing back forty billion dollars a year worth of platinum grade metals every year Wow and that just gets the business started because now your economics are cheap to get to once that infrastructure is there it’s not that expensive to get to the moon you can now send people you can be colonizing it also the moon has aluminum and all other kinds of resources which you probably wouldn’t want to bring back to Earth but if you’re constructing new space stations and new hotels and other kinds of things in space or on the moon you can mine that stuff all right there on the moon as a simple byproduct as the same things we’re doing to mine the platinum So I think there is going to be massive resources attainable from the moon I think it’s one of the best actually biggest business opportunities in history And to think about that twenty billion dollars that it might cost for all the infrastructure that’s about the size of a small to medium size mining project on earth They’ve got to go and build ports right dig into that mine build transport systems and security and railroads and all that stuff they have to build once we have this infrastructure the moon actually becomes a pretty small mine for an unlimited value
